Brooklyn Beit Midrash — Branding Consultant

UI Design | UX Writing

Project Overview

Brooklyn Beit Midrash is entirely organized and ran by volunteers. After a dip in engagement and participation, I began working with them in October, 2017 with the goal of polishing their brand image to become more consistent and appealing, and improving their Facebook presence to become more engaging. My work has consisted of creating graphics for Facebook Events and promotional materials, writing copy for Event descriptions and promotional materials, consulting on marketing strategy, classes, and events under consideration how to best enhance the BBM brand. By the end of 2017, Brooklyn Beit Midrash saw a 200% increase in Facebook engagement, a big increase in class attendees, and overall satisfaction and confidence with their Facebook presence.

 Brooklyn Beit Midrash

Brooklyn Beit Midrash's mission states their goals; To explore Torah and Jewish texts in a safe and open environment. Create a community of Jewish learners of all levels. Inspire learners to grow spiritually and intellectually. Empower learners (participants) to become teachers.

They describe the organization as; An open, co-educational community of learners, seekers, and teachers engaging with Jewish text in Brooklyn.
